The Karnataka Examination Authority has released the provisional seat allotment results for KCET 2024 counselling. Candidates can view the Round 1 allotment results on the official website.
As per the provisional allotment notification, any specific objections regarding the results must be emailed to keauthority-ka@nic.in with justifications before noon on August 30, 2024. After reviewing and confirming the objections, the final KCET allotment results will be published.

KCET Seat Allotment 2024
The Karnataka Examination Authority has announced the KCET Round 1 seat allotment for 2024 on its official website. Applicants can check their Round 1 allotment at kea.kar.nic.in by entering their CET number. Please note that the KCET seat allotment is available exclusively online.
Candidates who have been allotted seats must complete the physical reporting at the respective institute and pay the required fees.
From the login window, applicants must choose to either freeze or float their allotted seats. Those not satisfied with their seat allotment can opt to float their seats for an upgrade in the upcoming rounds. Candidates are required to report to the allotted institutes with the necessary documents and Xerox copies.
KCET Round 1 Seat Allotment
In KCET counselling, auto-upgradation is applied if you neither accept nor reject the seat. Therefore, if you are allotted a seat in the second round after receiving one in the first round, the Round 1 seat will be automatically cancelled.
KCET Round 2 Seat Allotment
The process for Round 2 is the same as Round 1. If there are vacant seats under the Rural and Kannada Medium quota reserved categories, these will be converted into general reserved category seats.
KCET Round 3 Seat Allotment (Extended 2nd Round)
In this round, after allotting seats to the reserved categories, any remaining vacant seats under the general reserved and special reserved categories will be converted into general category seats.
KCET Cutoff 2024
The Karnataka Examination Authority will release the KCET 2024 Round 1 cutoff in PDF format on the official website. Applicants can view the KCET cutoff at kea.kar.nic.in. The cutoff for KCET 2024 Round 1 will be presented as closing ranks.

Candidates can follow the steps below to check the UGCET seat allotment:
- Visit the official KCET counselling website at kea.kar.nic.in.
- From the homepage, navigate to the “Exam” tab and select “UGCET.”
- Click on the link for UGCET 2024 Round 1 mock seat allotment.
- Enter your CET number in the required fields.
- Review all the details mentioned in the allotment letter.
- Download the KCET 2024 allotment letter for future reference.
Applicants are advised to keep the KCET seat allotment letter safe until the admission process is complete.
